The “Millenials”
are the “now” generation. They look for efficiency and speed, they want
everything done as quickly as possible.
They look
for new experiences, new ways of experimenting a trip to seek the exclusiveness.
They also want to visit those places to post it online, so their experiences
are mostly related with technology. But, there is another thing that they like
to do and it is the time that they spend offline. They want to share their
trips and experiences but at the same time they want to enjoy some time off
from the internet.
As it is
been said previously, the user profile of Airbnb
are the “Millennials”. This is due to the fact that they are looking for those
unique experiences and Airbnb
provides them. You would not be able to interact with the host community in a
hotel. But, on the other hand if you stay in an Airbnb and share a flat/house with people from the area you will
be able to get to know the culture and get that feeling of exclusivity and
uniqueness. There is also the fact that Airbnb
offers unique experiences everywhere you can possibly go. That makes the site
more attractive to the “Millennials”.

We should
also consider that our “target” is young and does not have a great income so,
they look for cheap ways to travel and to learn as much as they can. They also
look for places where the tourists do not go the so called non touristic places.
This kind
of tourist generally is also respectful with what there is surrounding them and
they are careful with it. We could say that they travel consciousness.
