Contracts (HR 1)
Airbnb is
one of the most important collaborative economy platforms in the tourism sector
in recent years.
This
platform is used throughout the year, but much more in the summer months, because
it's the time when hotels raise prices, and Airbnb has to do the competition.
For the business to work, this number of employees were hired at some point in
their lives to work and collaborate on Airbnb, therefore, the contracts that
were formulated by the company, are several, although the most notorious is the
seasonal contract, because, as
previously mentioned, the platform has a greater number of customers in summer,
therefore, in this season, more workers are needed.
The
platform was growing in recent years, until reaching a point, this is thanks to
how they have known how to sell the brand so well, and this factor depends on
all the workers of this platform.
Airbnb, at
the end of 2015 had more than 1,600 employees in charge of the company, to make
it one of the most known and used platforms by a large part of the population,
both Spanish and global.

Many of
these employees end the contract at the end of the season, although there is
also another part that remains to continue complying with Airbnb, with another
type of contract, such as the following:
·
Labor
contracts for an indefinite period, which includes a three-month trial period.
· Fixed-term contracts - an exception to the
general principle that all labor contracts are for an indefinite period.
·
Labor
contracts for extraordinary / special services.
·
Part-time
labor contracts.
Also, as
previously argued, today, the Airbnb platform workers work with Seasonal labor
contracts, especially for workers whose employment will be dedicated to summer.
